Children At Risk Network Nepal (CarNetNepal) is a Non- profit and Non- governmental organization registered at District Administration Office (DAO) Lalitpur under the Act 2034 and affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. (DAO Regd. # 187/61/62 & SWC Aff. #18114). CarNetNepal is actively working for the holistic restoration of the children at risk through ‘Advocacy’, ‘Education’, ‘Women Empowerment’, ‘Sustainable Livelihood’ and ‘Disaster Response’ activities in Nepal. In this particular context, CarNetNepal is looking for dynamic and potential Nepalese candidates to fill out the following position.
- Position: Accountant ( Part Time )
Job Location: Head Office, Lalitpur
Overall goal of Position : To provide financial leadership, support and management to CarNetNepal financial sector on the base of organization norms, values, policy and procedures.
Duration: 10 months with possibility of extension.
Minimum qualification and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in management or business studies with specialization in finance
- At least 3 years of progressive experience in finance and admin of NGOs sector
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office, Internet, email)
- Ability to understand and explain financial and administrative policies and procedures.
- Good knowledge and experience of accounting software (Money Works)
- Two wheelers license is preferred.
- Good communication skill in Nepali and English
- Able to demonstrate CarNet’s values at the of performing jobs
- Able to travel and work in remote project areas.
- Must have a high level of financial integrity and professional ethics.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication skill (verbal and written in English and Nepali).
- Detailed knowledge of Government of Nepal accounting requirements, government law on taxation, auditing standards
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Build and maintains effective relationship with team, colleagues and members.
- Proficient in computer skills (preferred expertise in Microsoft Word, Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables, Powerpoint, and in creating charts or graphs).
- Knowledge and excellent working skill on Excel and accounting software. Money works
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Awareness of business trends.
- Familiarity with financial accounting statements.
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills.
- Scheduling, Time Management, Reporting, and Presentation Skills.
- Travel Logistics, Supply Management and Equipment Maintenance skill.
- Takes initiative (self-motivated), thinks objectively, and has great interpersonal skills.
- Remain calm under pressure and excellent analytical /problem solving skill.
- Ability to live and work in difficult remote areas and travel extensively.
- Position: Project Officer ( Full Time )
Job Location: Jugal RM, Sindhupalchowk
Overall goal of Position : To implement the CarNetNepal Project in Sindhupalchowk
Duration: 10 months
Minimum qualification and experience required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in social stream, rural development or any relevant field
- At least 2 to 3 years of experience of working in Child protection, Advocacy and GBV sector.
- Experience working with Community based groups and entities
- Knowledge of local government working procedures in relation with NGOs.
- Knowledge on GESI
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Reporting skills.
- Have positive learning attitude and concern for the poor and vulnerable children and family.
- Knowledge and experiences
- Negotiation, community engagement and representation skills.
- Ability to remain calm and work under pressure.

- Willing to travel frequently to the project site and stay in the field if necessary.

- Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members in a cross-cultural environment
- Ability to maintain performance expectations in psychologically stressful environments and physical hardship conditions with limited resources
- Excellent English & Nepali communication skills (oral and written)
- Good computer skill (MS – Words, Excel, email and enternet)
- Have high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident and independent.
- Having a valid driving license
- Good negotiation skills and a good team player
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

- Position: Paid Volunteer ( Full Time )
Job Location: Jugal RM, Sindhupalchowk
Overall goal of Position : Provide overall assistance in mobilization of CarNetNepal Project in Banskharka and Dande of Jugal RM.
Duration: 10 months
Minimum qualification and experience required:
- Intermediate (+2) in any field.
- 1-3 years of working experience in related field. Especially in Child Protection, Anti-trafficking and GBV.
- Knowledge on GESI
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent communication skill (verbal written nepali, English is encouraged).
- Scheduling, Time Management, Reporting, and Presentation Skills.
- Takes initiative (self-motivated), thinks objectively, and has great interpersonal skills.
- Remain calm under pressure and excellent analytical /problem solving skill.
- Ability to live and work in difficult remote areas and travel extensively.
- Must have positive learning attitude and concern for the poor and vulnerable children and family.
- Good in community group facilitation and writing case stories.
- Demonstrate cross cultural sensitivity, flexible worldview, emotional maturity and physical stamina.
- Must have high level of integrity and honesty, self-motivated, confident and independent.
- Able to integrate CarNetNepal values with the specific job s/he perforMr.
