‘लकडाउन उलङ्घन गर्दा सुर्खेतमा पास्टरहरू पक्राउ’ भन्ने शिर्षकमा छापिएको समाचारको वास्तविकता बुझ्न खोज्दा निस्सि चर्चाका अगुवाले दिएको प्रतिक्रिया जास्ताको तेस्तैः

नेपाल सरकारले lockdown गर्ने भनि सरकारी प्रतिवेदन जारी गरेसँगै हामी सबै मण्डली परीवारले त्यहि अनुरूप नै गएको हप्ता सुचना जारी गर्यौ, र त्यसको लिखीत सुचना चर्च भवनको भित्तामा टाँसिएको सबैलाई जानकारी गराउन चाहन्छौ । पुर्व सुचना जारी गरे बमोजीम मिती २०७6 चैत्र १५ गते शनिवारका दिन देखी अगाडी हुने साप्ताहिक संगतीहरू सरकारबाट अर्को सुचना जारी नभएसम्म सामुहिक संगती नहुने र हरेक परीवारहरू आ-आफ्नो घरमा नै गरिने भनि मण्डली परीवारलाई सुचित गराईएको थियो । यहि वास्तविकतालाई मध्यनजर गरी पाष्टर मोहन दास गुरूङ्गले घरबाट Facebook live द्धारा नै बिहान ८ बजे संगती गरीसक्नु भएको थियो । पा. सोलोमन (वास्तविक नाम – मोहनदास गुरुङ्ग) मण्डलि भवन भित्रै बस्ने र मण्डली परीसर भित्र अरु परिवार पनि बस्ने भएकोले (८-९ जना) उहाँहरूसँग कुराकानी गरेको वास्तविक नै हो । तर साप्ताहिक संगती गर्ने मनसायले कदापी भेला नभएको वास्तविकता यहाँहरूलाई जानकारी गराउन चाहन्छौ । सायद हरेक व्यक्तिले आप्नो घर र कोठामा प्रार्थना गर्न, भलाकुसारी गर्ने, संगती गर्न अवश्य नै पाउछ होला । हामीले बुझेको नेपालको कानुन यहि नै हो । तर अति सुनयोजित तवरले मण्डली भवनमा नै बस्ने पाष्टर सलोमन गुरूङ्गलाई मण्डली भवनबाट नै मानिसको सदभाव र ख्रीष्ट्यन जगतप्रति नकारात्मक संदेश जाने हेतुले प्रहरी कार्यालमा लग्नु कहाँ सम्मको न्यायसंगत हो । अझै दुख लाग्ने कुरा त के हो भने बिभिन्न onlinekhabar मा सम्पुर्ण घटनाको वास्तविकता नबुझीकनै ३०-३५ जनाको विचमा प्रार्थना गरेको भ्रमिक खबर फैलाउनु सम्पुर्ण ख्रीष्टिय जगतलाई नै ठेस पुर्याउने हेतुले प्रेषण गरिएको समचार हो भनि अवगत गराउन चाहन्छौ । स्मरण रहोस् पाष्टर सलोमन सँग इत्राम मण्डलीको शाखा मण्डलीको पा. प्रेम विश्वकर्मालाई पनि प्रहरीले सोधखोजका निम्ति आज दिउसो १२ बजे जिल्ला प्रहरी कार्यालयमा लगिएको थियो । यो लिङ्क हेर्नुहोस्-https://www.nepalsamaya.com/detail/26819

After the government of Nepal circulated the notice regarding the national lockdown and the Nissi church here in Surkhet had thereby circulated the news to its members accordingly. The same news has been posted on the church wall. ( please see the picture) The church has already informed the members that weekly fellowship will not take place on the church premise until further notice from the government. In return, the family can have prayer services but only at their homes. To make the situation much easier, Pastor Solomon Gurung (originally Mohan Das Gurung) had delivered the sermon through the Facebook live, on the morning of 28th March, 2020. Having lived on the church premise along with other family members, he was in conversation with them while the police authority came and knocked at the gate. As it appeared to them (the government) that the church pastor was having a fellowship service with people without knowing that these people lived at the same premise. The police took Pastor Solomon to the district head-quarter for further enquiry. After an hour, online news was circulated that Pastor Solomon Gurung was found having fellowship with a group of 30-35 people while the country is fighting against Covid-19, whereas the fact is that there were only 9-10 people living there and pastor Solomon was having conversation with them. The church has no intention of violating the government’s measures and we, the church, are willingly participating with the government’s mandate in order to combat Covid-19. At the same time, we do want to pray for the world situation with our families at our homes. People live in the churches and we cannot blame them for the weekly meetings if they are found on the church premise. As of this report, Pastor Solomon along with pastor Prem Biswakarma are still being detained by the police.
