Elijah Counselling and Training Centre (ECTC) is a non-profit organisation focused on Mental Health Counselling and Training, which works in partnership with local governments, non-governmental organisations and various institutions in the community by empowering individuals through Counselling and training to live socially, emotionally, and spiritually stable lives.
Openings: – 2 (1 male 1 female) full-time position
Position: – Project Officer (2 posts)
Qualification: – Must have PGD, Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and the related field.
Experience Required: – 2-3 years of experience having worked as a psychosocial counsellor, (working with children, adolescents, and people with disability will be an advantage for the post)
– 1-2 years of experience in training facilitation or leadership
Skills and knowledge: – A practical and strong background in mental health and psychosocial counselling.
– Must be highly motivated to work in multi-cultural/ contextual, and challenging situations, and is expected to have strong leadership and coordination and communication skills.
– good skills in interactive adult teaching
– Must have basic computer skills—MS Word, Excel, PPT, familiar with e-mail correspondence.
– The candidate should be knowledgeable in writing a report in English and Nepali languages, and is expected to have a learning attitude,
– Ability to work well within a team
– A good understanding of, and full commitment to, the ECTC values
