Treasures in heaven

Read Matthew 6:19-24

Jesus himself tells us that, rather than storing up treasures on earth, we should store up treasures in heaven.

?)What happens to earthly treasures?

?)What is the danger for those who are wealthy?

Read Matthew 19:16-22

Here we read of how Jesus is asked by a rich man what he must do to get eternal life. The rich man is keeping all the commandments.

?)What else does Jesus tell him to do?

We are told that the man goes away sad – it is hard for him to choose between his wealth and Jesus. Others, however, realise that nothing can be compared in value to the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 13:44-46).

Paul says in Philippians 4:12-13: ‘I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do every thing through him who gives me strength.’

स्वर्गमा सम्पत्ति

मत्ती ६:१९-२४ पढ्नुहोस्।

हाम्रो सम्पत्ति पृथ्वीमा थुपार्नको सट्टा स्वर्गमा थुपार्नुपर्छ भनी येशू आफैले भन्नुभयो।
(?) संसारको सम्पत्तिलाई के हुन्छ ?

(?) धनीहरूको लागि के खतरा छ ?

मत्ती १९:१६-२२ पढ्नुहोस्।

 
यहाँ एउटा धनी मानिसले येशूसँग अनन्त जीवन पाउन के गर्नुपर्छ भनी सोध्दछन्।यस धनी मानिसले सबै आज्ञाहरू पालन गरेका छन्।

(?) येशूले उनलाई अरू थप के गर्नलाई भन्नुहुन्छ?
त्यस मानिस निराश भएर गए भन्ने लेखिएको छ- उनलाई येशू र सम्पत्ति बीच छान्न गाह्रो छ।यद्यपि अरूले थाहा गरे कि स्वर्गको राज्यको तुलनामा अरू केही मूल्यवान छैन (मत्ती १३:४४-४६)।
फिलिप्पी ४:१२-१३ मा पावलले भन्छन् : कसरी होचिन र कसरी बढ्न म जान्दछु।परिपूर्णतामा होस् वा भोकप्यासमा होस्, प्रशस्ततामा होस् वा अभावमा होस्, सबै परिस्थितिमा सन्तुष्ट रहने रहस्य मैले सिकेको छु।जसले मलाई शक्ति दिनुहुन्छ, उहाँमा नै म सब कुरा गर्न सक्छु।
