Our attitude to money
The Bible contains a lot of teaching about money. It certainly does not forbid making money. Paul taught that we should work hard to provide for our needs and those of our families. Should we work to make as much money as possible?
Read 1 Timothy 6:6-8
?)Why is it important to be content with what we have?
?)What should be our attitude towards material things?
Read 1 Timothy 6:9-10
?)What should be our attitude towards money?
Note that this passage does not say that making money and using it well is wrong. It is good to make full use of our talents. However, the love of money is wrong. It is our attitude that is so important.
?)Have you seen examples of the problems which wealth can bring? What are some of these problems?
Read 1 Timothy 6:17-19
?)What does this passage say about giving? Reflect on your own attitude to money.
?)Do you have peace over your use of money and possessions?
?)Is your hope for the future based on Christ – or on your own efforts?
?)Pray that you will store up treasure in heaven, rather than on earth.

पैसाको बारेमा बाइबलमा धेरै शिक्षाहरू छन्। निश्चय यसले हामीलाई पैसा कमाउनलाई रोक्दैन।हामीले हाम्रो खाँचो र परिवारको खाँचो पूरा गर्न परिश्रम गर्नुपर्छ भनी पावलले सिकाउँछन्।के हामीले सकेसम्म पैसा धेरै बनाउन काम गर्नुपर्छ?
१तिमोथी ६:६-८ पढ्नुहोस्।
