Shanti Nepal (SN). an organization for wholistic transformation, celebrates its ten year anniversary on 26th May 2013 at Universal café, Nakhhu Dobato, Lalitpur. General members, Donors, stakeholders and government staff were invited in the program.
The program was started with national anthem and the opening prayer by Ms. Bishnu Nepali Gurung, SN Executive committee member. Mr. Uttam Rajkarnikar, Acting Executive Director welcomed the all participants while Mr. Krishna Man Shakya, Executive Director gave the highlights of the different project of Shanti Nepal and it’s organization achievements.
During the auspicious ceremony, SN has launched the Souvenir by Prof/Dr. Rajendra Kumar Rongong. Pastor Barnabas Shrestha and Prof/Dr. Rajendra Kumar Rongong both shared the word of encouragement. Ms. Janki Kafle, VDC secretary and Chairman of Primary Health Care & Resource Center (PHCRC); Mr. Jitendra Chepang, Chairperson of Nepal Chepang Association; Mr. Binod Deshar, Program coordinator of MCC and Dr. Tirtha Thapa, Executive Director of HDCS have congratulated SN for it’s decade long success.
At the end of the program, letter of Award was given to the staff who have successfully completed their 5 years in Shanti Nepal. Letter of Appreciation was given to the Donors and the stakeholders and personal contributors of SN. Ms. Bhim Kumari Shrestha gave the note of thanks to all the participants, staff, partner organizations, donors, stakeholders and prayer partners for their direct and indirect contribution to SN in fulfilling it’s vision, mission and objectives.
