Elijah Counselling and Training Centre (ECTC) is a non-profit organisation focused on Mental Health Counselling and Training, which works in partnership with local governments, non-governmental organisations and various institutions in the community by empowering individuals through Counselling and training to live socially, emotionally, and spiritually stable lives.
Openings: – 1 full-time position
Position: – Officer (1 post)
Qualification: – Must have a Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) or a Master’s Degree in
Counselling Psychology (preferred).
– A Bachelor’s Degree in Theology (B.Th) will be considered an added
advantage.
Experience Required: – Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant experience in the field of Mental Health and Counselling Psychology. (Experience as a Psychosocial Counsellor, Trainer, or Teacher will be an asset.)
– 1–2 years of experience in training facilitation and/or leadership will be an advantage.
Skills and knowledge: – A practical and strong background in mental health and psychosocial counselling.
– Must be highly motivated to work in multi-cultural/ contextual and challenging situations, and is expected to have strong leadership and coordination and communication skills.
– good skills in interactive adult teaching
– Must have basic computer skills—MS Word, Excel, PPT, familiar with e-mail correspondence.
– The candidate should be knowledgeable in writing a report in English and Nepali languages, and is expected to have a learning attitude.
– Ability to work well within a team
– A good understanding of, and full commitment to, the ECTC values
