Today the court made a decision to release Chinimaya Blon from Jail without bail, the court also decided to return the bail taken from Pastor Hari Tamang in the same case.
Chini Maya Blon was in police custody then in central jail since 23rd June 2016. Charges against here are child trafficking and proselytizing. The charges against pastor Hari is to support her.
Fact is that as Chinimaya was unable to run the orphanage in Dhankuta because of complexity to fulfill policy requirements. She decided to bring Children to Kathmandu and hand them over to their guardians and relatives. While bringing children to Kathmandu she did not fulfill required paper work hence she was arrested.
Today’s court decision is not the final verdict, the case will carry on until final verdict is done.
As the court decision came in the late afternoon, Chini May will be released only on Sunday.
