Pastor Joseph, I shall forever remember how you laboured to make Nepal Bible Ashram the splendid Bible school it was during those days. You even came to teach on a bicycle when strikes hindered transport. Your selfless ministry will forever inspire others and me.

When I heard about physical departure of great servant of God in Nepal, I was shocked and felt deep pain in my heart. We loosed one of our great spiritual father who really showed us the path of serving our God with sincerity and patience. He went to achieve his reward with our Great Father God in Heaven transferring us the responsibility of saving souls of Nepal. I offer my deep condolence to our pioneer M J Josheph and pray for the peace and help on behalf of his family.

We are so saddened and still in a shock hearing about Pastor Joseph. “Why Lord why ” “Why should a life being used by God should end so abruptly ” etc were the questions I was struggling with. But nothing happens without His knowledge. We have lot of good memories of working together with Pastor Joseph in Putalisadak and in other fields. But the times spent in prayer with Pastor Joseph always remain as the fondest of all.
What a legacy. A missionary who fought a good fight and finished his race and went home from the mission field! Our condolences to Sis. Lily and Children and Putalisadak church family.

Just two weeks ago I was with him at MLM seminar in Kathmandu. We shared our personal lives and the experiences of Church ministries together. He had great heart for the Churches in Nepal especially in the area of spiritual formation of the church. When My wife phoned me saying about his death it was a big shock because the churches of Nepal have lost a spiritual mentor. Now, it is our resposibility to pray for the rest of his family member and carry on his vision of spiritual formation in this land.

God saw your faithful service, humility and pure heart; therefore He put His arms around you and whispered “come to me.” With tearful eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A heart for Nepal and Nepali people stopped beating, Serving hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the best !!!
In this moment, our prayer and deep thought with Guruma, family member and fellow believer of Bethshalom Putalisadak Church !
