Some of our Bible College graduates have said that they didn’t have chance to apply what they have studied but ITEEN has given this opportunity. We have found ITEEN courses like “Dubai haatma Laddu” meaning hands full of sweets. It has really become a blessing to us.
About 20 pastors and leaders from different churches and organization participated in a prayer meeting held on the occasion of ITEEN’s 13th Anniversary on July 25 2008. Mr. Sarju Rijal, the field coordinator of ITEEN conducted the program. Rev. K. P. Devkota, the chairman of ITEEN led the opening prayer and shed light on ITEEN and its work.
Some of the participants shared their testimonies about how ITEEN has helped them in their Church, ministries and day to day life.
Ps. Narendra Bikram Subba from R.T.N. Church said: “There are very few leaders who are graduates from Bible College. Even I don’t have a very good theological background. Therefore, we were looking for some theological courses which could support our ministry. And I thank God for he provided us with ITEEN courses. 25 people are studying different courses of ITEEN. We have also started ITEEN courses in our sister churches. Some of our Bible College graduates have said that they didn’t have chance to apply what they have studied but ITEEN has given this opportunity. We have found ITEEN courses like “Dubai haatma Laddu” meaning hands full of sweets. It has really become a blessing to us.
In one hand it is a blessing to us and on the other we face difficulties. ITEEN is very strict in following its rules as we can’t do the courses as we wish. It is not easy to form groups to run courses, which is ITEEN’s requirements.
Assistant pastor Bhuwan K. C., Balaju Koinonia Church said, “it is blessing to us. In our church many members are doing courses of different levels. There are people from aged 65 to some school going children. We have only five trained tutors for running ITEEN courses. We feel that we need more tutors in our Church and more space as there are many more students who want to do the course.”
Mr N.D. Lama, Admin Assistant read out the Congratulations notes sent by different Organizations and people like NGOC., TAFTEE India, and Mr. Peter Bisset , Director of ITEEN International etc.
Rev. Dr. Simon Pandey shared from the word of God on the occasion. He shared from John 14: 12 – 14. He said that during the earthly ministry of Jesus, he taught his disciples many things. They were like us, who worried about their families and many other things. But Jesus taught them, spent lots of time with them and they learned what it meant to follow Jesus. Even today Jesus is asking us to do the same. In his preaching he added that ITEEN has been able to introduce itself in Nepal as a successful organization.
There was a time of worship after the preaching from the word of God, and a prayer session was held for ITEEN’s needs.
The programme concluded with a conclusion prayer led by Pastor Jeewan Gurung.

written by Bhojraj Bhatta , July 29, 2008Dear Pastor Tanka,
You have a wonderful website and I thank God for your dedication to make it happen. About your report on ITEEN, it was wonderful to know what God has done, but sadly the simple linguistic mistakes in the report give the reader a bad taste to the wonderful report. So, just as wonderful as the website is, I wish you could have a good English editor who could provide you the quality that it requires to run a respected site like this. I hope you take my comments positively.
Thanks!
