It is reported that 23 people were killed when a church in Dharan collapsed. The collapsed building was a temporary bamoo building. 60 people were severely injured in the incident.
The people were attending a Christian conference at the time of Dasain holiday. The building collapsed while the people were preparing to sleep there. Every year at the Dasain holiday time Christian all over Nepal organize big conferences
It is also said that the weight of the people was too much for the bamboo house and could not hold them. Some of the victims are said to be children.
Nearly seven thousand El Saddai members were gathered in Dharan form India and Nepal for the conference.
Home Minister Bhim Raut visited the incident site today.

Nepal Government has responded in this crisis, home minister Bhim Rawal went to the place and provided free treatment who are in the hospital. He also gave the word to help the people who lost their beloved.Thank God for this kind of response, it seems that Nepal Government practices secularization [equality among the religion].
