- Position: WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) Officer Field based in Rautahat, Chandrapur Municipality.
- Repots to: Program Manager.
- Effective Date: First week of January 2025.
- Nature of service: Contract (Annual renewal)
- Summary of the job description:
The main purpose of this position is to oversee INNP’s Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) project-designing, planning, budgeting and the implementation. S/he will be responsible for developing proposals, concept notes, and project plans; execution of plans and generating reports, ensuring compliance and maintaining high-quality standards.
- Major roles and responsibilities:
- Support in Project designing, proposal writing/concept notes/ presentations for fund generation.
- Support in project planning, budgeting & implementation
- Reporting and Documentation
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Coordination and Networking
- Program Safety and Security updates.
- Others as per organizational needs and assigned responsibilities.
- Education qualification required: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Development studies highly preferable.
- Competencies Required:
- Demonstrated project planning, budgeting and implementation skills.
- Knowledge of Project Cycle Management, Logical Framework Approach and Project Monitoring & Evaluation with Proposal Writings and Report Writing skills.
- Conflict Management Skills and familiarity with cross cutting issues and concept of Do No Harm.
- WASH Program/Project Design & Implementation: Able to design, implement, and monitor WASH interventions, including water supply, sanitation systems, and hygiene promotion activities
- Data Collection and Analysis: Skills in conducting WASH needs assessments, data analysis, and reporting to inform program design.
- Emergency WASH Interventions: Knowledge of Sphere standards, WHO guidelines, and other humanitarian WASH standards
