We are pleased to inform that, Quick Rescue TEAM Nepal (QRTN), a non-government rescue, relief, advocacy, and development organization is seeking for a qualified, motivated, dynamic, and competent Nepalese candidates to join the team for the position below:

Director – 1

Contract Types: Annually renewal

Reports: Executive Chairman

Project Location: Itahari, with 40% field travels

Job Summary:

Experience & Key Competencies:

• Master’s degree and at least 5 years’ experience in senior management/ leadership role in social sector. Or Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ similar work experience.
• Should have excellent planning, organizational and decision-making skills.
• Must be proficient both spoken and written in English and Nepali language.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under limited supervision.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Give executive leadership for the achievement of the goal, vision, mission & strategy of the organization.
• Develop proposals, strategies and policy documents.
• Play a lead role in the formation, implementation and monitoring of the strategic plan.
• Develop and maintain highly tuned relations with donors and key stakeholder groups including. local government and like-minded organizations.
• Regular communication and coordination with the executive committee of the organization.
• Prepare project-based action plan for effective implementation of activities.
• Ensure effective implementation of activities in working districts.
• Develop and prepare monitoring plan, regular monitoring and review to ensure the activities are in line with expected outputs.
• Communicate program related information to Executive Director, and management committee, program staff, field staff, and external stakeholders as and when necessary.
• Develop Individual Performance Appraisal (IPA) system and conduct appraisal and review.
• Develop education, awareness and training related materials, such as project briefs, case studies, lesson learning etc.
