Sundar Dhoka Saathi Sewa (SDSS) is a registered Non Government Organization in Lalitpur district that aims to make positive changes in the life of children and people with disability, people suffering from specific health difficulties. It provides patient navigation services to specific health need people from remote areas of Nepal. SDSS also supports for the economic rehabilitation and physiotherapeutic services to people with disability; creates opportunities for out of school children with disability (CWDs) to access to quality education. SDSS is inviting applications in following position.
- Position : Finance and Administration Coordinator
Required Number : 1
Working Locations : Lalitpur Nakhhu
Position type : Fixed term staff
Reports to : Programme Manager
The Finance and Administration Coordinator will be responsible for following responsibilities,
Key responsibilities
- Review and work on the financial transactions
- Support in the fleet management
- Ensure that staff leave, contract so on are recorded and updated timely
- Abide in organisation’s vision, mission, goal, core values
- Responsibility for budget – new budget preparation, accounting, recording, reporting
- Generate report from the system, analyze and discuss with team
- Provide regular analysis of all project including grant financial reports and timely feedback to budget holders
- Implement financial systems and controls; and ensure they are in place to avoid the audit risk
- Implement the procurement process
- Implement anti-corruption and fraud strategies
- Supervise the sourcing and purchasing activities with the responsibility for ensuring timely delivery of supplies
- Make sure that SDSS assets are secured and well maintained
- Oversee logistics and stock management
- Prepare staff salary, bank reconciliation, Monthly / Quarterly / Annual Finance Report and Fund Availability Statement, performing ETDS
Requirement and qualification
- Bachelor’s degrees in Business Studies, commerce; master’s degree preferred
- 3 years working experience in similar position, preferably with an NGO
- Knowledge and experience on finance system and computer software such as MoneyWorks
- Experience in office administration and staff management
- Good communication skill in English and Nepali
- Competency in Microsoft Applications specifically in MS office and Advance Excel
