- Post Title: Head of Quality Assurance Required No. 1
Work Base: Nepalgunj
Job Summary: The job holder will be responsible to ensure the quality and standard of all INF Nepal work through oversight of the MELA (monitoring, evaluation, learning and accountability) processes within the organisation and supporting the Technical Team to ensure that the outcomes produced align with accepted national and international best practice. The post will be based in Nepalgunj with regular travel to Pokhara and all other INF Nepal project areas.
Required qualification, skills and abilities
- Masters in in Management/Information Management/Project Management, or other relevant academic background with more than 5 years’ experience at a senior level in a non-governmental organization
- At least 3 years managing MELA across a variety community projects, including the design of M&E tools, surveys, etc.
- Good understanding of community development empowerment models and knowledge of the project management cycle with excellent analytical and conceptual skills.
- Proven track record in Monitoring, Evaluation, Learning and Accountability (MELA) management in a complex context with good planning and organizational skills.
- High level of computer literacy (Windows Excel, and other relevant e.g. Kobo Tool Box)
- Competency in written and spoken English with good networking skills.
- Able to passionately demonstrate INF’s Values in work settings and relationships.
- Post Title: Human Resource Development (HRD) Manager Required No. 1
Work Location: Pokhara
Job Summary: INF values its staff and is keen to maintain and enhance its position as a good employer and an effective and efficient NGO. The job holder will be responsible for ensuring the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of human resources plans and programs are realized in accordance to INF Nepal Employment Policy. The post is based in Pokhara.
Required qualification, skills and abilities
- Masters in Management preferably Human Resource Management with minimum three years’ of progressive experience in people management with excellent organizational management skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching and negotiation skills with the ability to manage complex employee relations casework including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances, absenteeism, retirement and redundancy.
- Committed to participate in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of INF Nepal and support the change management process.
- Highly proficient in computer skills [Word, Excel, Email] with good command of written and spoken English.
- Able to ensure and demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others and contributing to establish constructive and co-operative working relationships within team and overall organization.
- Have a passion to be part of the organisation serving the poor and disadvantaged people of Nepal and willing to travel to remote parts of Nepal.
3.Post Title: MELA Coordinator Required No. 1
Work Base: Nepalgunj
Job Summary: The job holder will be responsible to liaise with assigned projects to build the capacity of the projects and systems for MELA (Monitoring Evaluation, Learning and Accountability) activities to ensure highest technical standard of work. S/he will also play an important role in improving information management and data quality, and in strengthening knowledge sharing and learning across the organization.
Required qualification, skills and abilities
- Master’s Degree in Development, Social Science, or other relevant academic background with at least 3 years of MELA experience (including data analysis), working across a variety of projects in an NGO setting.
- Proven ability in leading MELA within the project cycle with experience in strategic planning and performance management, including indicator selection, target setting, reporting, database management, and developing M&E and performance monitoring plans.
- Computer proficiency in Windows environment (Microsoft Word, Excel, , PowerPoint) and high level of skill with Kobo Toolbox and/or other relevant data analysis systems
- Knowledge of the major evaluation methodologies (qualitative, quantitative, mixed method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies
- Ability to produce complex information and communicate it effectively to diverse audiences; ability to design and implement efficient work flows and procedures
- Fluency in English; excellent written and oral communication skills, including facilitation and cross-cultural communication.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
