Nisi River, and he convinced to baptize me...This Saturday I had been to Bethel Church, Pokhara. sharing the pulpit with ps Laxmi Shrestha. He pastors a church since 1992. Ps Laxmi and another man who were evangelist from different Church, traveled to my Village in near Burtibang, they were vising there very timely and I was just small boy, after several years, I started following Jesus in 1994, and wanted to be baptized soon. then they came to teach in small fellowship in my village about faith and baptize some people. I was only 14yrs at that time. I was so interested to get baptized, and at same time I was very small boy that these pastors did not even noticed my attention and interest and deeply committed faith in Jesus. I requested Ps Laxmi to write my name on the list as well because I am so wanting to be baptized and follow after Jesus fully with the testimony to my fellow villagers. but, they did not list my name on the baptism group, may be I looked too small boy whom they didn't trust and might have been afraid if some one would accuse them for converting a small child, i just assumed it could be one reason. I kept requesting and requesting and finally after long long conversation, Laxmi agreed to baptized me in the water.next morning we went down to Nisi River and were baptized. the persecution swept all the others, I was only the remnant believer for another year, and I also decided flee the pressure against my faith, it just sounded like bulldozer clearing the rock on the newly digging road. then decided to ran away from home, and come to Pokhara, finally I made it on the Month of May 1996. This Saturday I was in the Pulpit with Ps Laxmi, preaching the word, and also giving my testimony about how long I had make my request to Pastor before he was convinced and agreed to baptize me on the water. He smiled. I preached from the book of 1st Thessalonian 1:2-3 Every time we think of you, we thank God for you.
