World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), an international, Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to work with children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice, is looking for potential Nepalese candidate to fill out the following positions:

Positions and Locations

Work
Purpose:

 

The purpose of the post is to contribute to the ADP in the area of Health and Nutrition in general and particularly develop the capacity of staff and partners in the field of Health and Nutrition.

 

 

The purpose of the post is to contribute to the ADP in the area of Education and ECCD in general and particularly develop the capacity of partners in the field of Education.

 

 

This position in the respective district represents WVIN development philosophy and network in the districts, among government, NGOs and CBOs at the district level. This position also expects to mentor, support and develops partners and CDFs as appropriate in the respective fields.

 

Minimum
Qualifications &
Experience Required

 

Bachelor’s Degree in community health and nutrition with minimum two years work experience in community development (Preferably Master’s Degree in Public Health).

 

Bachelor’s degree in Education with Minimum two years work experience in community development (Preferably Master’s Degree in Education).

Both the position required:

. Excellent networking and community organizing skills

. Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel

. Willing to take initiative in doing action research in the respective fields

. Self-motivated, confident and independent

. Knowledge and practice of participatory tools in community development and management

. Good interpersonal relationship skills and ability to maintain confidentiality

. Good report writing skills; fluency in Nepali and English – both oral and written

. Ability to operate effectively and sensitively in the cultural context of Nepal, particularly for the respective districts. Command over local language/ dialect and good understanding of the local culture

.Must be willing to travel by cycle, motorbike, bus, and foot to program areas as appropriate

.Willingness and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
