सर्वप्रथम डा.रमेश खत्रीलाई उहाँको लेख टोपी र टुप्पी सम्बन्धमा धन्यवाद साथै सो लेख हाम्रो आशिष् पत्रिकाले ख्रीष्टमस विशेषाङ्कमा प्रकाशित गर्नुभएकोमा पनि धन्यवाद भन्न चाहन्छु। धेरै अघिदेखि विभिन्न ख्रीष्टिय नारीहरूका साथै पुरुषहरूले लेख्‌न र भन्न खोज्नुभएको तर लेखेवापत् कतै मण्डली अनुशासनमा परिने हो कि? अझ झूटै शिक्षाले पगरी लगाइदिने हुन् कि भनी गुम्साएर राखेको कुरा उहाँले चित्तबुझ्दो प्रकारले प्रष्टाइदिनुभएकोमा हामी कृतज्ञ छौं। हुन पनि यहाँ आफूलाई चित्त नबुझे आफूसँग सहमत नभए अरूलाई झूटा शिक्षा भनिदिने चलन छ। कति पटक अरूले ल्याएको खबरकै भरमा समाचारकै भरमा ए झूटा शिक्षा पो रैछ भनिदिन्छन्। यस्ता बहस र दृष्टिकोण आउनुपर्छ। दृष्टिकोणहरू फरक भए पनि एकले अर्कालाई स्वीकार गर्न सक्नुपर्छ।

Long ago, I watched the film "The Mouse That Roared". Its contents resembled the strike (banda) that Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) called on February 22. The RPP-N enjoys just four seats in the Constituent Assembly; and thus, by comparison to other parties, is a "mouse". However, it called a valley-strike and arranged for the picketing of the Singha Darbar the next day. Its banda had lofty ambitions: (1) a referendum on Nepal as a constitutional monarchy, a Hindu kingdom, and its adoption of federalism; (2) pressure on the government to control the price-rise, abolish corruption, write the constitution on time, and improve security. For slogans, RPP-N proclaimed nationalism, democracy, and liberalism. With the BBC Nepali programme on February 22 evening, Kamal Thapa, RPP-N’s leader, claimed that the banda had attained total success. As proof of that he pointed at the closed shops even in the interior parts of the city!

आगामि दिनमा ख्रीष्टियान संचारमाध्यमलाइ प्रभावकारी बनाउदै लैजाने उदेश्यले नेपाल ख्रीष्टियान संचार संघको गठन गरेको छ। भेलाले त्यसको लागी ११ सदस्यीय राष्ट्रिय तदर्थ समिति गठन गरेको छ। जसको अध्यक्ष लोकनाथ मनेन, सचिव थिर के.सि., सह सचिव निलिमा कोइराला रहनुभएको छ। साथै समितिको सदस्यहरुमा क्रमश हिमाल र्राई, गजे थापा, सुकदेव गिरी, भुवन देवकोटा, परिच्छेद शर्मा, सपना बस्याल, दिनेश श्रेष्ठ रहनुभएको छ। नबगठित समितिले आगामि ४ महिना भित्रमा निदेर्शीका तयार र संगठन विस्तारको मस्यौदा तयार गरी आम भेलाबाट राष्ट्रिय समितिको गठन गर्ने आयोजकले जनाएको छ।
